Fort St. John man wins 500K playing Lotto Max

FORT ST. JOHN — A Fort St. John man is $500,000 richer after purchasing a winning Lotto Max ticket.

Sixty-six year-old Kim Peck bought the ticket on June 21, 2019.

The rodeo lover plans to use his winnings to invest in some horses and get back into his hobby of rodeo roping.

“[The win] means the bills will be paid off and the house is ours,” Peck said.

“I haven’t done roping for three years now, and I would like to pick that back up. I have been working a lot in the past, so it will be nice to have more time off.”
