Knights teams return from Kelowna with three gold medals

It was a triple crown of sorts this weekend at the Valley of Champions baseball tournament in Kelowna.

Three Prince George Knights teams won gold at the event this weekend. The single-A Peewee Knights, AA Bantam Knights and the AA Midget Knights all took home first place. The Midget squad won the tournament thanks to an 8-2 win over the Central Okanagan Sun Devils.

Next up is provincials for the group, who will look to defend their title. The Knights went 4-1 on the weekend, outscoring teams 34-13.
