Ninth Dream Home Lottery launched

PRINCE GEORGE – A brand new 3,800 square foot house could be yours for the low price of a hundred bucks. That’s because the Prince George Hospice Society’s annual Dream Home lottery was launched today.

The house, which has six bedrooms and four bathrooms, is valued at $640,000.

The Dream Home Lottery is the Hospice Society’s biggest fundraiser, as palliative care is only 40 percent funded by Northern Health. The Society needs to raise $1.4 million every year. There are 10,999 tickets for $100 apiece.

“We remain grateful for the generosity of all the people, organizations and company’s that have generously helped us build this beautiful home, and to our community for their continued support.”

There are three early bird draws, the first of which is on July 16th, another on September 13th and a third on October 4th. The actual draw for the house is October 25th.
