PG RCMP say Ford trucks are being targeted by thieves

Police are warning Ford truck owners of a recent spike in Ford F-series trucks being stolen. Since July 1, RCMP have received seven reports of stolen trucks. RCMP are advising the public to ensure their truck doors are locked and to utilize anti-theft devices if possible.

Suspects arrested for stealing Ford F-250 after foot chase by RCMP

After police released a warning Tuesday, (July 16) about Ford trucks being stolen, two suspects driving a stolen Ford were arrested in an on foot chase after causing some damage. The suspects collided with two separate vehicles in different locations before being arrested on Tuesday.

IIO investigation leads to consideration of charges against P.G. police officer

A report has been filed by the IIO in Surrey to the BC Prosecution Service for their consideration of charges relating to an in-custody death in Prince George involving a Prince George officer almost two years ago. The officer was involved in a struggle with a male casing vehicles, the officer proceeded to pepper spray the man, who later died.

“Karma…karma will get you,” says woman who found nine cats trapped in bins

The woman who discovered nine cats abandoned in plastic bins, in a vacant residence near the 1400 block of Milburn Ave. says what she saw was “heart-wrenching.” The cats were discovered Tuesday, July 9, emaciated and covered in feces in urine after almost over a week of being trapped.
