Family cries for justice following in-custody death

PRINCE GEORGE — A protest was held outside the Prince George RCMP detachment on Victoria Street this morning (July 29).

It was held by the family Lindsey Izony, who died in police custody on July 20.

The family says the woman died needlessly while in police custody. Her mother and family are looking for more answers as to what happened.

The Independent Investigations Office is investigating the incident.
