TWolves beef up defensive unit with Hronopoulos

An 18-year-old defender with an interesting connection to UNBC is joining the Men’s Soccer team up the hill this fall.

Edmonton’s own Dino Hronopoulos is a new member of Prince George’s All-Name team and will be patrolling the back end of the pitch for the Timberwolves this season.

Hronopoulos was recruited by a few schools, but was urged to visit UNBC by his godmother and UNBC Student Career Centre Coordinator Maria Trujillo.

After the TWolves graduated several important defenders last year, the six-foot Albertan will be a valued member of the team, after garnering experience in the Alberta Major Soccer League and Youth soccer organization. Hronopoulos will enroll in general arts at UNBC in hopes of becoming a P.E. teacher.
