Parent Support Services Society celebrates grandparents at annual event

Sunday marked the 5th annual Grandparents Day in BC put on by the Parent Support Services Society.

The Day is a celebration of Grandparents, and provides an opportunity to shed light on grandparents who raise grandchildren along with kinship caregivers.

Events took place to highlight the day across BC including right here in Prince George at Paddlewheel Park.

The Parent Support Services Society is continuing to focus on the growing number of grandparents or relatives who are currently parenting due to the parents being unable to.
