Timberwolves soccer clubs impressive Saturday in a pair of wins

It was a successful day on the pitch for the UNBC Timberwolves soccer clubs as both teams picked up big wins.

At Manich stadium, the women’s team hosted the Okanagan Heat and earned a 3-0 victory.

The women’s club is 2-0-0 to start the year and will head out on the road next weekend for the first time this season as they meet the U of S Huskies Saturday in Saskatoon, and the U of R Cougars next Sunday.

Meanwhile out on the road, the men’s club bounced back with a 2-0 win over the UVIC Vikes.

The men are now 2-3-1 on the season and will be back on the field next weekend when they host the Mount Royal Cougars.
