BC Thanksgiving Food Drive

BC Thanksgiving Food Drive could be even more vital this year

PRINCE GEORGE — September 21 has been proclaimed as BC Thanksgiving Food Drive Day.

This year’s drive will be the ninth in Prince George and is the city’s largest of the year. Last year, the drive brought in enough food to last The Salvation Army nearly four months.

The 2019 drive could support even more families than past events, according to Major Neil Wilkinson, because of the downturn in forestry affecting so many people in and around Prince George.

Paper bags will be distributed in the days leading up to the 21st, when the drive officially begins.
