Foresty Innovation Centre opens in Quesnel

QUESNEL – Quesnel’s city council decided to take the lead and envision their community like a forest dependant community forever.
The city is now the home of the provinces first community based Foresty Innovation Centre. According to Mayor Bob Simpson, Quesnel intends to stay as a foresty dependant community but they know the land base and industry will need to change.
So as a consequence the community wanted to house all the innovation thinking about foresty in Quesnel. This week, a floor in Quesnel city hall was renovated to house the Forestry Innovation Centre.
