PRINCE GEORGE– It’s that time of year, where the sun begins to set a little earlier and the things that go “bump” in the night begin to crawl out of the dark.

Theatre Northwest’s latest show Dracula: The Bloody Truth hits the stage Thursday, Oct. 24th. The show is a play in a play one where Professor Abraham Van Helsing attempts to tell you the real story behind Dracula and how he may still be among us.

“It’s got that spooky feeling to it…maybe there’s a couple of jump scares…but it is a full-on comedy,” says Kirk Smith, who of many characters in the play gets to also be Dracula himself.

The actors and set were down in Kamloops for two weeks where they performed the show already. Christy Bruce, an actress in the play says that they had two weeks two rehearse before hitting the stage, “I honestly think we could sell tickets to watch the play and then people could come back for a second night and watch monitors for what happens behind the stage,” said Bruce.
