UNBC women’s soccer team eliminated from playoffs by Bisons

The season is over for the UNBC Timberwolves women’s soccer team.

They dropped a 2-1 decision to the University of Manitoba Bisons Friday afternoon, which eliminated them from the post-season.

Trailing 1-0 in the first half, the Timberwolves would tie the contest thanks to Paige Payne in the 41st minute.

However, in the 70th minute, the University of Manitoba would restore their lead and hang on for the 2-1 win.
