Dog suffers severe injuries after falling out of back of truck
WILLIAMS LAKE–The SPCA is reminding the public to travel with pets secured inside their vehicle after a seven-month-old German Shepard suffered severe injuries from falling out of the back of a truck.
“Chilli” the German Shepard was surrendered to the SPCA with a torn front leg. Her skin has been torn off of the tissue from her upper forearm to her armpit also severing some of her arteries.

“Chilli had such deep wounds all along her leg that the limb was beyond repair and she required an emergency amputation to save her life,” says BC SPCA Williams Lake & District Branch manager Liz Dighton.
