PRINCE GEORGE — Carrier Sekani Family Services is hosting its first annual elders gathering in Prince George this week.
It’s entitled “Our Knowledge, Our Legacy, Our Voice,” and is taking place at the Coast Inn of the North with dozens of participants on hand.
Organizers say the goal is bring people together from various First Nations bands and to inform them about a variety of topics including health and mental health.
The conference wraps up on Thursday.
