Mixed results for PG clubs at Day 1 of Provincials

Now down in Langley the Provincial tournament kicked off for both High School Volleyball teams who played their round robins today. Starting first with the College Heights Cougars who dropped their first game against Pacific Christian in 3 sets 16-25, 25-22, 13-15. They would bounce back against Langley Fundamental winning in 3 sets 22-25, 25-21, 18-16, and concluded the day against Pacific Academy where they lost in three sets.

Meanwhile Duchess Park earned a 3 set victory in their opener against St. Michaels University 25-23, 23-25, 15-12, but then dropped their 2nd contest of the day against Surrey Christian in straight sets. The day wrapped up against Hugh McRoberts where they earned a straight set victory. The playoff round will begin for both teams tomorrow morning with the opponents yet to be determined.
