The BC Government will appoint a special mediator to the UNBC FA Strike

PRINCE GEORGE–The striking UNBC Faculty Association requested a special mediator to intervene in the nearly three-week-old strike at the University ,and the province has agreed to their request . In a statement posted to its website, its an approach the university supports . Meanwhile, students are continuing to voice their concerns over the risk of losing their exams and their semester if job action continues much longer .They plan to continue to stage rallies and sit-ins until the conflict is resolved.
