Food for Fare is back this year: Ride transit for free

PRINCE GEORGE–Tis the season of giving and the City and BC Transit are joining forces to collect donations for the Salvation Army Food Bank.

Between Friday, Dec.13 and Sunday Dec.15 community members will be able to ride transit for free with the donation of a non-perishable food item for this year’s Food for Fare. The donation must be made aboard the bus.

Holiday Service Hours:

• December 24 – Regular Service ends at 7:00 pm
• December 25 – No Service
• December 26 – Sunday Service
• December 27–30 – Regular Service
• December 31 – Regular Monday Service until 7:00 pm
• Free New Year’s Eve Service from 7:00 pm – 3:00 am
• January 1 – No Service
• January 2 – Regular Service
