New Parsnip bridge opens

PRINCE GEORGE – The new Parsnip bridge is now open to highway traffic. The new bridge opened yesterday at a value of $31.6 million.

The construction began early in 2018 to replace the old Parsnip River Bridge, improving safety and capacity on Highway 97 North.

The bridge is located 150 north of Prince George. The new Parsnip River Bridge will be able to accommodate larger commercial vehicles and will provide a safer, more comfortable crossing.
