The Cats are traveling more than 1,100 kilometres down to Portland Orgeon to continue their rare four game stretch with the Portland Winterhawks. Of course the Cougars dropped both games up in PG to the Hawks 3-0 Tuesday and 5-4 in OT Wednesday, and will be looking for better results at the Veterns Memorial Colliseum in Portland. In other Cats news Filip Koffer has been invited to try out for the Czech Republic squad for the upcoming World Junior Championships which the Czechs are hosting. In his first year with the Cats, the 18 year old has 3 goals and 10 assists in 27 games.
