Pack-a-PC event raises funds and food for seniors in need
Dec 9, 2019 | 11:50 AM
PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George RCMP says this year’s Pack a PC event was another success.
For six hours yesterday (Dec.8), residents were invited to shop at any of the Save-On-Food stores in town to help pack a police car.
By the end of the day, 35 police cruisers were filled with food and a record $5,800 in cash and gift cards were donated.
Today, with the help of students from both Duchess Park and DP Todd secondary schools, the proceeds were delivered to the Prince George Council of Seniors to help seniors in need.
