Keep holidays merry with these crime tips

PRINCE GEORGE — It’s the time of year for giving and receiving, but if you’re not careful, it can also be the time of year to get ripped off.

But Prince George RCMP say there are precautions you can take to protect yourself.

That includes not posting trips you may be taking over the holidays to Facebook or not leaving presents in clear view in your vehicle.

And if buying gifts online, you’re advised to have your parcels picked up by a family member or neighbour.
