Chara plays in 4th decade

When Zdeno Chara took to the ice last night for the Boston Bruins in their game against the Columbus Blue Jackets it marked the 4th decade which the hulking blue liner skated in the NHL. Of course he began his career with the New York Islanders in the 97-98 season and has spent the past 23 years in the league with stints also in Ottawa and of course in his current spot in Boston. Chara played one season with the Cougars back in 96-97 and I don’t think the 42 year old plans to play a 5th decade in the show.
