Carrier Lumber announces temporary shutdown

PRINCE GEORGE – Carrier Lumber has fallen victim to the COVID-19 pandemic. This evening, it was announced its will suspend operations at its Tabor Planer. The sawmill will continue operations. It means the lay off of 35 employees.

“We sincerely hope these layoffs will last only a short time, and that we will be able to bring our employees back to work as soon as possible,” states William Kordyban, President of Carrier Lumber.
