Virtual classes a possibility this month for K-12 with video conferencing application
VICTORIA—Virtual classes, that is what K-12 educators will be able to offer their students while in-class learning is suspended as a preventative measure for COVID-19.
In a release by the Ministry of Education they say they have secured and funded licenses for the application Zoom, for all K-12 public and independent schools in BC.
This will allow consistent access for educators who choose to use the video conferencing application.
Continued learning, will vary for each school depending on the needs of students, such as online learning tools and/or resource packages or assignments emailed or mailed from teachers to parents.
