The Prince George Spruce Kings announced Monday morning they have filled out their goaltending position for the 2020-2021 season.

Joining returning netminder Carter Woodside in between the pipes for the Kings in 2020-2021 is Aaron Trotter from Victoria.

Trotter spent last season with Shawnigan Lake Prep of the CSSHL.

The 2001 born goaltender had an 11-7-1 record in 19 games last year with a 2.57 GAA and a .905 SV %.

“We are excited to add Aaron Trotter to join Carter Woodside to form our goaltending duo for next season,” stated Head Coach Alex Evin in a press release sent out by the team Monday morning.

“Aaron has good size (6’2 171 pounds) and mobility which compliments his work ethic and compete level.”

The Kings are hoping Trotter can help the team over the course of the next two seasons and develop into an NCAA prospect.
