Dawson Creek Constables participate in 2020 Cops for Cancer Tour de North

DAWSON CREEK—RCMP officers across the north will hit the road on bikes this September in an attempt to raise money to support research into childhood cancer through the 2020 Cops for Cancer Tour de North.

Dawson Creek RCMP has two of their very own participating in the ride this year, Cst. Scott Puffer and Cst.Karlee Vanhie. Both will be cycling more than 850 kms and engaging with communities along the way to raise money for the cause.

This ride will be the first for both, Cst. Puffer and Cst. Vanhie. Cst. Puffer has been with the Dawson Creek Detachment for two years and has a goal of rasing $3,000.

Cst. Vanhie has been with the Dawson Creek Detachment also for two years and also has a goal of raising $3,000. Cyclists will hit the road as early as September 14.
