RCMP ask for assistance locating Prince Rupert man who escaped custody

PRINCE RUPERT–RCMP are reaching out for public help in attempting to locate a Prince Rupert man who escaped custody on September 3rd.

Prince Rupert RCMP say that 45-year-old David Wagner was last seen near the Prince Rupert Hospital when he fled into a bush. Despite RCMP efforts to try and find him he has not been located.

David Wagner is described as:

  • white male
  • 5 ft 7 in (183 cms)
  • 176 lbs (80 kgs)
  • short brown hair
  • blue eyes

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark blue long-sleeved shirt, dark shoes, and a dark blue baseball cap. RCMP say if located to immediately contact RCMP in their jurisdiction and not to confront him. Anyone with information on where he might be is asked to contact the Prince Rupert RCMP at 250-624-2136 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
