The 2020-2021 curling season is less than a month away in the City of Prince George, but like everything this year, it will look a little bit different.

Action on the pebbled ice will begin on November 2nd for curling leagues in the city.

However, some leagues will be forced to move from a one night format to two.

There will also be just four sheets of ice, compared to six.

Rule changes have also been implemented by Curling Canada to help keep social distancing during games.

This includes only one sweeper compared to two and the opposing team is no longer able to sweep past the hog line.

Despite the adjustments to the rules, the PG Curling club is excited about the 2020-2021 season and will begin to put ice in over the course of the next two weeks.

Registration is also open for all leagues at the clubs.
