COVID-19 exposure reported at school in Fort Nelson

FORT NELSON— The BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) is reporting another school exposure in Northern Health.

This one is said to have occurred in School District 81’s, Fort Nelson Secondary School on Oct.15-16.

The BCCDC does remind parents that an exposure does not mean that their child/children have been exposed to COVID-19.

“If you do not receive a phone call or letter from Public Health, your child should continue to attend school. You can monitor your child for COVID-19 symptoms daily using the BC COVID-19 Health Assessment Tool.—BCCDC Website
