MVI closes part of Hwy.97 east of Chetwynd

CHETWYND–A motor vehicle accident has closed part of Highway 97 in both directions.

North District RCMP say that there are emergency services are on scene, however, were not able to confirm how many vehicles are involved or if there are any injuries.

DriveBC says that the highway, between Powder King Rd. and Old Hasler Rd. (34 km north of Pine pass Summit) is closed and that there is no detour available at this time.
