Gunshots report a “priority” for Mackenzie RCMP

MACKENZIE — Mackenzie RCMP were called to a residential complex early Friday morning for a reported shots fired call. Just before 1am, police arrived at the call on Stuart Drive where a resident reported hearing a “bang” and noticed a bullet hole through an upstairs window of the home, More bullet holes were later found in the wall.

“This appears targeted however it is believed that those responsible were at the wrong house,” said Sgt. Jayson Davidson, NCO i/c Mackenzie RCMP, in a statement.

RCMP say this investigation will remain a priority as it continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact Mackenzie RCMP.
