PGYSA adapting to changes following their move inside

The outdoor season in 2020 is over for PGYSA and now the indoor season is officially underway.

Overall, the transition has been seamless for the organization.

“It has been really fantastic! It’s great to have the players back indoors after the three weeks off,” shared Officials & Grassroots Coordinator for PGYSA Johnathan Botelho.

However, like anything during the Covid-19 era of sports, there have been some adjustments that players have had to make so they could continue to play.

“We require players to wear masks upon entering the facility and putting their boots on. Once they get on the field, they can take their masks off,” added Botelho.

That changes for players though when they get off the pitch and are sitting on the bench or having team meetings.

Regardless, the players are happy to adapt to the new rules and regulations so they can hop on the pitch and get back to playing the game they love.
