New Cabinet sworn in
PRINCE GEORGE – A few similar portfolios and some changes to the BC Government Cabinet, which was sworn in today at the University of Victoria rather than Government House.
Staying in the same portfolios are Bruce Ralston as the Minister of Energy, George Heyman remains as the Minister of Environment and Climate Change Strategy, David Eby remains as Attorney General, Adrian Dix stays on as Health Minister, Harry Bains remains as Labour Minister and Mike Farnworth is still the Minister of Public and Solicitor General.
There have been some changes as well. Most noted, Selina Robinson is the new Finance Minister after holding the Ministry of Municipal Affairs, replacing Carole James who has retired from office. Melanie Mark has moved from Advanced Education to Tourism, while Rob Fleming is moved from Education to Transportation, Anne Kang moves from Citizens’ Services to Advanced Education. Nathan Cullen has been given the portfolio of Minister of State for Land and Natural Resource Operations.
