It was a record-breaking year for the UNBC Timberwolves, but not on the field or the court, but in the classroom.

A total of 28 athletes have earned the honour of being named U-Sports Academic All-Canadians.

“We are thrilled,” shared UNBC Athletic Director Loralyn Murdoch to CKPG.

“That is over a third of our athletes that are on the eligibility certificate.”

However, according to Murdoch, all four teams did amazing in the classroom this past year, holding a ‘B’ average.
