It’s a boy! Northern BC’s first baby of 2021 born in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE – It’s a boy!

Baby Kace was born at the University Hospital of Northern BC on January 1st at 4:11 am to mom Jessica Penner and dad Kenneth Wray, of Quesnel, BC.

Kace weighed in at seven pounds, 11 ounces, and is welcomed to the world by his half-siblings Jacob and Nathan.

Provincially, the first baby was born in Vancouver at the Women’s Hospital at 12:21 am. That baby weighed in at seven pounds, four ounces, and the gender is still unknown.
