Weapons, drugs, and cash seized in RCMP raid on 11th Ave
PRINCE GEORGE – Police have provided an update on the standoff that closed part of 11th avenue near the Parkwood Mall on Wednesday.
RCMP say they removed 19 people from a residence on the 1600 block of 11th Avenue, before entering to find weapons and ammunition.
Information was given to frontline officers of a possible robbery attempt with a firearm which prompted a callout to the North District Emergency Response Team and Prince George RCMP Police Dog Services to assist with managing the situation and removing everyone from the residence safely.
While Mounties were on scene, they found a handgun and a box of ammunition outside of the residence in plain sight.
