Landslides affecting roadways near Quesnel and Williams Lake

PRINCE GEORGE — Two roads near Soda Creek are reduced in traffic due to a landslide.

Williams Lake Cut Off Road is allowing one-lane traffic after a landslide at Hawks Creek Bridge on Saturday (April 10).

It’s the second time in three days the Soda Creek has had its roadways affected by a landslide. Soda Creek-MacAllister Road closed on Thursday (April 8) after a landslide 10km away from the Junction of the Cariboo Highway.

Near Quesnel, Kersley Dale Landing Road closed on Thursday following a landslide 500m away from the Cariboo Highway.
