Highwater Advisory

PRINCE GEORGE – A combination of warmer overnight temperatures and rainfall through areas around Prince George have scientists at the River Forecast Centre issuing a high streamflow advisory.

River levels are rising or expected to increase rapidly, but that no significant flooding is expected.

Tributaries in our region are experiencing the effects of the increased snowmelt rates and increasing flows over the past day.

Additional precipitation is expected throughout the weekend and with a continuing forecast of warm overnight low temperatures.
