There are 3,441 active cases of COVID-19 in B.C. Friday, a decrease of 102 from Thursday. There are 292 people hospitalized with the virus and 79 in intensive care.

Two more people have died of COVID-19, increasing B.C.’s death toll to 1,692.

A total of 138,360 people are considered fully recovered from the virus, or 96 per cent of all recorded cases.

B.C. has now administered 3,106,269 doses of COVID-19 vaccine, including 160,885 second doses. That equals 67.2 per cent of all adults and 62.7 per cent of all people 12 and older who have received at least one dose.
