Train derailment northeast of McLeod Lake

PRINCE GEORGE — CN crews are responding to a train derailment northeast of McLeod Lake.

It happened Thursday afternoon and preliminary information indicates that the 38 derailed cars are upright.

CN Senior Advisor Mathieu Gaudreault says there was no fire, no one was injured and no crossings are blocked. In addition to that, he says there were no spills or leaks.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
