73.1% of those 12 and up in BC have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine

VICTORIA — Vaccination rates in British Columbia continue to climb.

The B.C. government announced this afternoon that 75.1 per cent of all adults and 73.1 per cent of those 12 and older have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. In total, 3,893,581 doses of vaccine have been administered, 497,932 of which are second doses.

Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and Health Minister Adrian Dix announced 180 new cases of the virus today – 11 in Vancouver Coastal Health, 107 in Fraser Health, 13 in Island Health, 39 in Interior Health and 10 in Northern Health.
