Province planning for ‘near normal’ return to school this fall for K-12 students
PRINCE GEORGE – The province has announced more details into the return to school this fall, and what will and won’t be the same from this past school year.
The Ministry of Education says based on guidance from the Office of the Provincial Health Officer, students will no longer be grouped into cohorts this September.
The province says research has shown schools were not significant sources of COVID-19 transmission, and with high vaccination rates throughout B.C., these measures will no longer be necessary.
