COVID-19 vaccinations resume in 100 Mile House
100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — While 100 Mile House remains on evacuation alert due to the nearby Flat Lake wildfire, Interior Health (IH) is renewing its effort to get the community vaccinated against COVID-19.
The IH COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the local community hall was put on hold on July 14, shortly after the District of 100 Mile House declared an evacuation alert.
Monday (July 19), IH announced it would resume innoculations on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Thursdays from 11:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The clinic will offer patients both first and second doses, though second doses are only available for patients who have waited at least 49 days since their first dose.accinations will be offered on a drop-in basis only. No appointments will be necessary.
