60 new cases of COVID-19 in Northern Health region

VICTORIA — The provincial government announced 655 new cases of COVID-19 in British Columbia today, including 60 in the Northern Health region.

Since the pandemic began, 166,068 people have been diagnosed with the virus, while 157,941 people have recovered.

There are 6,045 active cases of COVID-19 with 187 people in hospital, 103 of whom are in intensive care.

As of today, 84.3% of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 76.5% received their second dose.
