PRINCE GEORGE – The sport of football is growing in Northern BC.

It’s exactly what the President of the Prince George Kodiaks Football Club, Craig Briere, has been wanting. There remains to be a lot of work to be done, but they’re well on their way. And it’s apparent when you look at the list of players who have been selected for Team BC.

The list of players who have made Team BC from the North includes:

U14 Team BC

  • Dillion Piddoke
  • Gabriel Tabora
  • Kobe Kidd

U16 Team BC

  • Dante Meyer
  • Logan Johnson
  • Peyton Briere
  • Xander Tabora

U18 Team BC

  • Quinn Neukomm
  • Carson Briere
  • Jason Kragt
  • Cole Malo

The British Columbia Provincial Football Association had 28 players from the North invited down to the Lower Mainland for the BCPFA’s Bowl Games, which also served as a try-out for the provincial teams.

Broken down, 11 players were brought down to get a crack at the U18 provincial roster, 12 U16 players were invited, and five players for the U14 division. All of which had the potential of cracking Team BC for their respective age groups.
