Cougars win fourth straight against Royals 4-1
PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars won their fourth straight game Saturday (Oct. 23) evening, all of them against the Victoria Royals.
In the fourth installment of the Cougars’ six straight games against the Royals, they won 4-1 in Victoria. Liekit Reichle opened the scoring within the first six minutes of the game, before the Royals answered back with a Carter Briltz tip-in.
However, the Cougars took the lead – and never gave it back – when the puck deflected to Blake Eastman in front of the net. Goaltender Taylor Gauthier held fort with 28 saves on the evening.
The Cougars host the Royals Tuesday (Oct. 26) at CN Centre with puck drop at 7 p.m.
