Missing Williams Lake man last seen hitchhiking north of Prince George

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — RCMP are looking for the public’s help tracking down a missing Williams Lake man who is without needed medicine.

Charles (Charlie) Moyen, 73, was last seen last Friday (Oct. 22).

According to Williams Lake RCMP, Moyen had been seen hitchhiking on Highway 97 north of Prince George, and had told his family he was trying to get to the homeless shelter in Chetwynd.

Police say Moyen has serious medical issues and he has not been taking the vital medication he needs. He has a history of hitchhiking, including an instance when he made his way to Alberta before police found him.
