OTTAWA- Health Canada has approved the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for children aged five to 11. The approval clears the way for the accelerated delivery of 2.9-million child-size doses — enough for a first dose for every Canadian child in that age group. Parents will likely be able to start booking vaccine appointments for their kids, as early as next week. The U-S approved the pediatric drug on October 29th, and more than two-million American children have already been vaccinated.
