PRINCE GEORGE – In the past few days, regions of the province will be slammed with extreme atmospheric river weather events.

These weather events at times also bring high winds. These winds affect those drivers who have become vital to our food security.

The powerful weather system hitting our province has some truck drivers on edge as they for the highway. Peak gusts of winds are known to tip trailers.

There is also the potential for more damaging and widespread winds with the next incoming systems combined with snow, making for additional travel concerns for everyone on the roadways.
