‘Traffic incident’ closes Highway 97 in both directions

PRINCE GEORGE — Local Mounties say “a traffic incident” has closed Highway 97 in both directions between Bellamy Road and Shady Lane on the Hart.

RCMP say the incident is under investigation and confirm there have been injuries. They expect the road to be closed for another two hours and note a news release will be sent out Sunday morning which will provide more details.

According to Drive BC a detour is in effect.
